I figured I needed to add in a picture of my roommates. This is Patches and McGraw. Can you guess which one is Patches? :) They are brother and sister, Patches is the girl, and they are 8 1/2. I can't believe they are that old.

Well, I weighed the little buggers about a month ago. I never weigh them. They are indoor cats, never leave my house, and are only around each other. They play and fight like brother and sister, but overall they are pretty lazy. I have a blanket covering my oversized chair. It is now their chair. I don't sit there. Ever. The back cushion is dented in from McGraw laying across it. See!



So, I weighed them. First I got on the scale and weighed me. Then I picked up Patches. She weighs 12 pounds! Little heffer! I knew she was fat. I can see her belly sway from side to side when she runs. But 12 pounds? Ok.

Then I tried to weigh McGraw. Now this was a little more difficult. He loves to cuddle, but on his terms. And he DOES NOT like to be held. Can't pick him up. Never. So I tried. He was squirming all over the place. It took a while for the digital scale to get a reading. I couldn't believe it! I had to do it twice. My cat weighs 20 pounds! 20!! He's HUGE! There are dogs 1/2 his size!!!
